DOES MYECOLODGE HAVE CONTACTLESS CHECK-IN?
Sorry, we enjoy greeting our guests! But if it makes you feel any better, we do have contactless check-outs!
HOW OFTEN DOES MYECOLODGE SANITIZE THE COMMON AREAS?
We sanitize our common areas every morning, afternoon and evening. Daily. We even make sure our shuttle services are sanitized too!
DOES MYECOLODGE SANITIZE THE ROOMS?
Yes, we make sure that the room is sanitized from those pesky COVID-19 viruses before you begin your stay with us.
I AM HAVING MY MEALS AT TAM TAM RAMEN, IS THE FACILITY SANITIZED?
Yes, we sanitize your table before and after you have your meals. The restaurant is also extremely well ventilated to ensure there is no stagnant air lingering about.
I THINK I MAY START TO FEEL UNWELL, IS IT OKAY FOR ME TO CHECK-IN?
We really want you to enjoy your stay here with us, but if you start to:
- Have cold or constant sneezing and coughing
- Have body temperature of more than 37.5°C or 99.5°F
- Loss or reduced sense of smell and taste
- Feel unusually fatigued
We really want you to stay at home and get better as soon as possible before visiting us here!
You can also call ahead to postpone or cancel your booking with us!
IF I FEEL UNWELL DURING MY STAY AT MYECOLODGE, WHAT SHOULD I DO?
We at MYEcolodge care about our guests! Please do come to us if you feel poorly, we will ensure you get the proper medical attention that suites your condition.
OH DEAR, IT TURNS OUT I REALLY DO HAVE COVID-19 WHILE STAYING AT MYECOLODGE. WHAT WILL HAPPEN TO ME NOW?
Don’t worry! We have procedures in place to take care of you should this were to happen. Just work closely with our front desk officer, and we will ensure that you get the proper treatment.
GETTING AROUND MY ECOLODGE
HOW DO I GET FROM NEW CHITOSE (CTS) AIRPORT TO MY ECOLODGE?
Below are the available public transport modes from the New Chitose Airport.
– JR Rapid Airport Train > JR Otaru Station (transfer to local line) > JR Kutchan Station > MY ecolodge Private Pick-up
– MY ecolodge Private Pick-up > See here for the JR train timetable (subject to change based on season)
CAN I REQUEST FOR A PICK UP OR DROP OFF FROM HIRAFU WELCOME CENTER OR JR KUTCHAN STATION?
Most definitely! We provide free arrival/departure transfer from both JR Kutchan Station and the Hirafu Welcome Centre. Our pickup services run from 07:00~22:00 (summer hours subject to change), if you require this service, please book at least 24 hours in advance with your train’s arrival time. If you are arriving after 22:00, please let us know at your soonest convenience.
HOW DO I GET TO THE MAIN HIRAFU SKI SLOPES?
We offer a complimentary MY ecolodge shuttle service that runs from 07:45~16:00, departing every half hour. The stops are Hirafu Gondola and Hirafu Welcome Centre (Base). You can hop on back to the bus when you are done skiing/boarding too and it brings you back to MY ecolodge!
HOW CAN I GET AROUND THE RESORT BESIDES USING THE MY ECOLODGE SHUTTLE SERVICE?
If you happen to miss our last shuttle that leaves the Hirafu Gondola at 16:05, there are other shuttle buses that run till 20:00 that you can take. After that, it’s only a short walk to MY ecolodge!The nearest bus stop to us is Bus Stop No. 24. Alternatively, you can take the Niseko United Shuttle (NUS) bus from the Hirafu Welcome Centre or Hirafu Intersection back to MY ecolodge too. Our stop is ‘Yamada Intersection’.
CAN I DELIVER MY LUGGAGE TO MY ECOLODGE BEFORE MY CHECK-IN AND/OR SEND MY LUGGAGE FROM MY ECOLODGE DURING MY STAY?
Most definitely. Ensure to include your booking name and check-in date when sending your luggage over. And simply approach our friendly Front Desk to arrange your luggage to be sent out. Please note that if you are sending your luggage or ski/snowboard bag to the airport, do allow 2-3 days prior to the date you want them to arrive.

I’D LIKE TO SKI/SNOWBOARD A LITTLE LONGER ON THE DAY OF MY CHECK-OUT. MAY I KEEP MY LUGGAGE WITH YOU?
It’s possible but do take note that our check-out time is at 10am. But you could leave your luggage at our front desk and do be reminded to collect your luggage tag before heading to your designated activity.
ARE THERE SKI/BOARD STORAGE FACILITIES IN MY ECOLODGE?
We do provide such services; there’s heated storage room made available on the 1st floor where you could store your all your gears for free. Additionally, there’s waxing corner in the storage room available for your convenience.
DO YOU OFFER COIN LAUNDRY SERVICES?
Yes we do. There’s three pairs of washing machines and dryers available but it’s a paid service option.
Washing machine service cost 200yen per wash and dryer is at 100yen for 30 minutes. If you may require washing detergent, it can be purchased from our front desk.
ARE THERE ANY INTERNATIONAL ATMS THAT I CAN WITHDRAW MONEY FROM?
There are 3 international ATMs located at Hirafu:
- Shiki Niseko (from 7am – 11pm. All major credit cards accepted)
- Lawson Convenience (available 24hrs. All major credit cards accepted)
- Aya Niseko (from 10am -5pm, Visa and Mastercard with IC chip accepted)
ABOUT THE LODGE
WHAT TIME CAN I CHECK-IN/OUT?
Check-in time is 15:00 and check-out time is 10:00 on the morning of departure. If you arrive earlier or are only leaving later in the day, feel free to leave your luggage with us until then!
ARE THERE LIFTS IN THE LODGE?
Unfortunately, we do not have any lifts, so we recommend for you to request a room located on the second floor (valid for Twin/Double Room bookings only, and subject to availability).
ARE THERE ANY SKI/SNOWBOARD STORAGE FACILITIES?
Yes! We provide a ski and snowboard drying room facility for all guests on Level 1 of the building. The drying room may also be accessed from an external staircase just next to the entrance that brings you right inside!
IS THERE A CAR PARK AT THE LODGE?
Free parking spaces are available to all guests. However the number of spaces are limited so if you plan to come by car, please check in advance whether our parking spaces are available.
DO YOU OFFER COIN LAUNDRY SERVICES?
Yes. Please use the in-house washing and tumble-drying machines located on Level 1 of the building. Our machines are all ¥100 coin-operated and you can purchase detergent from the Front Desk.
MYECOLODGE’S CANCELLATION POLICY
I HAVE TO CANCEL MY BOOKING WITH MYECOLODGE, CAN I GET A REFUND?
If you made your booking through an online agent (eg: OTA, Trivago, Expedia, Booking.com, etc.) you may have to abide by their cancellation policies.
If you made your booking directly with us;
Domestic bookings may require a one week prior notice of cancellation to qualify for a full refund.
International bookings require a 30 day prior notice of cancellation to qualify for a refund. If your cancellation is influenced by Japan travel restrictions, you are entitled for a full refund.
CAN I CHANGE OR POSTPONE MY STAY WITH MYECOLODGE?
Sure you can!

ABOUT THE AREA
WHERE CAN I RENT MY SKI/SNOWBOARD GEAR FROM?
The nearest gear rental shop is available at Good Sports located a short 3-minute walk away where you can rent your gear. Alternatively, there is a rental shop directly across the road called ‘Rental shop Yoshi’ you can also rent from.
ARE THERE ANY INTERNATIONAL ATMS THAT I CAN WITHDRAW MONEY FROM?
We have a 7-Eleven convenience store directly opposite us that is open 24 hours and takes international cards!
WHAT NEARBY EATERIES ARE THERE?
Our in-house MY ecoCafe whips up a medley of local and international dishes, ranging from tempura rice bowl, ramen, nabe (hotpot), pizza, pasta, and more! There is also a number of restaurants that serve very good meals within walking distance from the lodge. Upon check in we can provide you with a Niseko Wine & Dine guide that has a comprehensive list of restaurants in the area. Alternatively, you can download the Niseko Winter App and find the guide in there, or just ask our very friendly and food-loving Front Desk team for their personal recommendations!
You are more than welcome to use our phone to make reservations if you require.
WHAT OTHER ACTIVITIES CAN I DO BESIDES SKIING/SNOWBOARDING?
If skiing/snowboarding isn’t your thing, there are companies that do backcountry touring, snowshoeing and snowmobiling. Alternatively, there are a number of onsens (Japanese hot springs) in the area that can help you relax and unwind after a long day on the mountain. Our staff are quite knowledgeable about the area and can recommend restaurants and other activities upon your arrival.
CAN YOU RECOMMEND A BUDGET SKI/SNOWBOARD SCHOOL THAT ALSO PROVIDES QUALITY SERVICE?

For our guests, we would recommend GoSnow as they are very easily accessible from MY ecolodge and the shuttle bus drop off points.
CAN I SMOKE INSIDE THE LODGE?

Smoking is not allowed anywhere inside the lodge, so please use the designated smoking area located outside when you smoke.
