Savour The Colourful Panorama Of Spring
As the snow melts and the sun returns, Niseko turns a lush green with bursts of red, pink and yellow flowers.
Early Spring is a great time to visit Niseko if you would like to enjoy the snow in a milder climate and with a bit more sunshine. The mountain is usually open for skiing until early May and temperatures sit around 10 degrees.
Once the mountain closes Niseko gets quieter and the days get longer and warmer, this is the start of BBQ season! The cherry blossoms start to bloom followed by the tulips and wild flowers not to mention all the fresh wild vegetables. This is a great time to go vegetable picking or let the hard work be done for you and pick up fresh vegetables from the Farmers Market instead!
